Kilbree belonged to the Boles family at the beginning of the 18th century. It became the residence of a branch of the Adams family in the late 18th and 19th centuries, occupied by S.W. Adams in 1837. The house was valued at £33 in the mid 19th century and held from Dorothea and William Boles.

Francis Rowland was resident in 1837 and at the time of Griffith's Valuation, when the house was valued at £35 and held from Wallis Adams. It is now a ruin.
